UPGRADE - MOBILE & WEB ONLINE BANKING PRODUCTS

I’m currently working as a Senior Product Designer leading the design funnel team at the company called Upgrade. You may ask me what a funnel is?

The funnel at Upgrade is to take a potential customer through a user flow journey to discover Upgrade products. Upgrade products include Personal loans, Cards, and Reward Checking. The design goal is to create a highly proven conversion rate at any point in the customer journey, such as encouraging customers to choose Upgrade products. My Role: UX Lead and end-to-end funnel product owner. Working cross-functionally with five different product managers.

Project Goal: The design goal is to create a highly converting rate at any point in the customer journey.

Resolution: Build the conversion design system and user flow. Build trust with upgrade potential customers and then eventually convert him or them to buy one of our products.

Result: The number of customers has tripled from 2021 to 2022.

IA IMPROVEMENTS

Goals

Create a stable, scalable organization for the logged-in customer experience for Deposit and PCL. Key actions are easy to access, and new features already have a home. Identify inconsistencies and problematic components to fix in the new design system.

Approach

Focus on existing experience + near-term improvements. Kick-off Nov 1st, weekly workshops with PM and Design leads.



REFERRAL PROGRAM

Welcome game changers! Shortly, we will introduce the Upgrade Referral Program, dedicated to rewarding those who share the offers of Upgrade products, the referrer, and to reward new members, the referee!

Goals

Create the Referrer and Referrer user flow. Focus on the simple step process, and build the referral bonus structure.

HOME IMPROVEMENT LOAN

Goals

Create an end-to-end design flow for borrowers who can complete their home renovation project with a fixed-interest rate personal loan. Build the loan term options that let homeowners pick the loan option that's right for them. Create an impression for the first-time customers to be interested and keep engaged in a conversation with Upgrade.
