A mobile app that provides three services: ordering food, sharing social media, and group shopping.
Our mission is to help restaurant owners increase their sales and customer base, enhance their in-store operations, and provide a menu of platform services such as custom e-commerce websites, decentralized social networks, and influencer marketing platforms.
My Role: UX Lead and Product Manager of Design
Project Goal: Helping restaurant owners grow their businesses
My Responsibilities: Owning, leading, and driving design problems from ideation through to execution. Leading a team of designers and building relationships. Partnering with cross-functional leads (Product, Engineering, Analytics, Operations, Brand) to establish the vision for our Consumer products. Establishing processes and practices that increase the team's effectiveness and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as UX Research, Product Management, Engineering, Business Analytics, Operations, and Marketing. Working directly with C-level executives to implement business strategy and optimize product operations and aligning the business goals with the strategic deliverable. Coaching teams on performance metrics and mentoring them on quality and productivity.
Methods: Context research, Thinking Aloud, Storyboarding and Speed dating, Prototyping of experiences, Business strategy, Pitch Deck Creator.
PROBLEM SPACE
How do restaurant owners in the USA grow their business and provide strategy? Based on research and user testing, we have found there is no existing product to solve these problems? How do we help restaurants to market their products over a vast number of platforms or communities?
Current delivery ecosystems are unsatisfactory due to their inability to create both a satisfied base of users and sellers. The challenges are:
Getting potential users onto the platform and retaining them.
Creating a seamless experience for restaurant management.
Predatory margins and restaurant inability to scale with individual orders ( Restaurants can only generate substantial numbers of orders during peak traffic time, lunch, and dinner time. How can they utilize the rest of their time to make money?

Owners’ side - In the best of times, restaurant owners must often struggle to make a profit. The current reality in the United States is that restaurants do not operate with the margins to survive using the offerings of existing delivery platforms.
Users’ side - Current users are paying for more than just their food. High delivery costs, inflated service fees, and rates based on peak times increase the end costs to the user.
How can we help increase the profits of owners while at the same time decrease the costs to users?
Opportunity
We have analyzed competitors and found that research focuses primarily on users, not the experience of business owners.
Most platforms are customer-focused applications. As we all know, COVID-19 has affected a lot of small businesses. We believe this is a great chance to help rebuild small restaurants and cultivate more strategic ownership. We will help you adopt different marketing methods across social media platforms. We are also building a group shopping experience so both owners and users can experience the benefits of a new way of shopping.
We believe this is a win-win design that will make our product stand apart from others in the industry.

PROCESS
In this project, the overall goal of our research is to find solutions and ideas to help restaurant owners grow their businesses and engage new users. AI + Big Data + Smart Sales + Cloud-Based SaaS Platform
Not only do we provide fast and smart ordering software, but also food-loving friends who can share videos and images in the app. We aim to build a more youthful and engaged forum to celebrate food culture. Establish a group purchase mechanism on the website for users to access subsidized food rates and the group leader will at the same time get rich salaries while simultaneously allowing group leaders to earn higher salaries after creating their groups. Our goal is to create an encompassing and nuanced food experience.
